This Cookies Policy explains how Simple Daily Planner uses cookies, browser local storage and similar technologies, what each one does, and how you can control them.
1. What are cookies and local storage?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets an app keep data on your device. Simple Daily Planner relies mainly on local storage, because your plan is saved on your device first.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary — sign-in session, security tokens and sync state. Without these you cannot stay signed in or sync across devices. These cannot be switched off.
- Functional — your planner content, theme pack, dark mode, carry-over setting, agenda/list preference, reminder and quiet-hours settings.
- Performance / diagnostics — anonymous error and reliability information that helps us fix problems.
- Advertising — we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. Third-party cookies
When you sign in, Google may set its own cookies on accounts.google.com to authenticate you. Those cookies are controlled by Google under its own privacy and cookie policies.
4. How long they last
Session items are removed when you sign out. Functional items such as your plan and theme stay on your device until you clear them or clear your browser data. Sync sessions expire after 30 days, after which you sign in again.
5. Managing your choices
You can review and change your choices any time on the Cookies Preference page, or clear cookies and site data from your browser settings. Clearing storage will remove any plan that has not yet synced.
