You can ask us to delete your Simple Daily Planner account and everything synced to it at any time. This page explains exactly how, and what happens to your data.
1. Request deletion
Email simpledailyplanner26@gmail.com from the Google account you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my account”. We confirm the request, delete the data and email you when it is done.
2. Export first (optional)
Deletion is permanent. Before you ask us to delete anything, use the in-app PDF export or backup export to keep your own copy of your plans and notes.
3. What is deleted
- Your account record and Google sign-in identifier.
- All synced tasks, times, notes, priorities, recurring rules and panel data.
- Your preferences, themes, reminder settings and quiet hours.
- Scheduled reminders and any pending reminder emails.
4. What we keep, and why
We keep a minimal record of completed payments (amount, date and transaction reference) where tax and accounting law requires it. These records contain no planner content.
5. Timing
Synced data is removed within 30 days of a verified request, and usually much sooner. Backups holding copies are rotated out within a further 30 days.
6. Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription bought through a store. Cancel an annual plan first — in Account → Manage subscription, or in the Google Play subscriptions screen if you bought through Play. As set out in our Refund Policy, deletion does not create a refund.
7. Data stored only on your device
Plans held locally are removed when you sign out and clear the app data, or clear your browser storage for this site.
