Android installation FAQ
- How do I install Simple Daily Planner on Android?
- Open simpledailyplanner.com in Chrome on your phone and tap Install the web app, or use the browser menu and choose Add to Home screen. The planner then opens full screen from your home screen like any other app.
- Is Simple Daily Planner on Google Play?
- The Google Play listing is on the way. Until it goes live you can install the same app straight from the website in one tap — it works offline and receives updates automatically.
- Is the Android planner free?
- Yes. Planning your day is free and no account is needed to start. Pro features such as cloud sync across your phone and desktop cost $9.99 a year or $29.99 once for lifetime access, with a 7-day free trial when you sign in.
- Does it work without internet?
- Yes. Your day is stored on the device, so the planner opens instantly offline. Changes sync to your account as soon as you are back online.
- Will my tasks sync between my phone and my computer?
- Yes. Sign in with Google on both devices and your daily plans, recurring tasks and reminders stay in sync with the Windows desktop app and the web planner.
- How do I turn on reminders and notifications?
- Open the planner, go to notification settings and allow notifications when your phone asks. You can set reminder lead times, a daily nudge and quiet hours so nothing arrives while you sleep.
- How do I remove the app from my phone?
- Press and hold the Simple Daily Planner icon on your home screen and choose Uninstall or Remove. Plans saved to your account remain available when you sign in again.
